Terms and conditions
The rules Festapix runs by: what you buy, how long it lasts, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Written to be read.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
Festapix is a service of CR OU OÜ, Nõmme tee 64-3, 11311 Tallinn, Estonia, registered in the Estonian Business Register under number 16778262, VAT number EE103034274. You can reach us at [email protected].
In these pages "you" are the person who creates an album (the host). "Guests" are the people you give the QR code or the link to.
2. The service
Festapix gives you a private online album for one event. Guests scan a QR code and upload photos and videos from their browser, with no app and no sign-up. You get a private page where you print the QR code, see and manage the photos, show them live on a screen, download them all in original quality and make a keepsake film.
The album can be reached only by people who have the QR code or the link, and it is not offered to search engines. Anyone holding the link can open it, though: who gets it is up to you.
3. Creating an album
You create an album by filling in the form and completing the payment: it becomes active when the payment is confirmed, and from then on it takes photos and videos. If the payment is not completed the album stays inactive and is deleted 90 days after it was created (or 14 days after the date of the event, if that is later).
When the album is created you receive a private link to your management page. Whoever holds that link manages the album: keep it safe and don't share it.
4. Price and payment
The full album is paid for once per event, at the price shown on the site when you buy. It is not a subscription and it does not renew. Prices are in euros and include VAT.
When the site shows a launch price, it applies to albums created up to the date shown next to it.
Payment is taken on Stripe's secure page. For this sale Stripe acts as the authorised reseller: it collects the price, applies the tax of your country and sends you the receipt. We never see or store your card details. The contract is concluded when you receive the payment confirmation, and the album is unlocked at once. The receipt is sent to the email address you give at payment.
5. Optional extras
Together with the album, or later, you can buy extras. Each is paid for once per album, at the price shown when you buy:
Online for 24 months: the album stays online for 24 months instead of 12.
Voice guestbook: guests can leave a voice message of up to a minute and a half from the same QR code. Only you can listen to the messages, and they come with the full download.
Long keepsake film: the film may hold up to 60 photos instead of 22.
The Atelier collection is an optional extra: thirty printable stationery styles (QR table cards, welcome sign, thank-you cards, table numbers) already set with your album's details. It is bought once per album, together with the album or later.
It is digital content: you receive files to print, not printed goods. Printing is up to you. You may print the pieces as often as you like for your event; you may not resell them or use the designs for other commercial purposes.
6. How long it lasts, and what happens at the end
The full album stays online for 12 months from the date of the event (or from payment, if the event has already taken place); 24 months if you bought the extra. During that time you can download everything whenever you like.
When the period ends the album is closed and the photos, videos, voice messages and films are permanently deleted from our storage. We are not a long-term archive: download a copy before it expires.
You can ask us to delete the album at any time, including earlier.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Festapix is a digital service that is switched on straight after payment. By buying you expressly ask for the album to be activated at once, and you acknowledge that, once it is active, you lose the 14-day right to cancel that applies to distance purchases. The same goes for every extra, which is made available immediately.
For this reason there are no change-of-mind refunds after activation.
What the law guarantees in every case still stands: if the service does not work as described and we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a refund. Write to [email protected].
Payment is handled by Stripe as the authorised reseller: its own conditions also apply to any refund.
8. The photos are yours
Photos and videos belong to the people who took them. All we need is the technical permission to store them, make previews and show them to people with the link, for as long as the album exists. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train artificial intelligence systems.
As the host you decide what stays in the album: you can hide or delete any photo. Each guest can remove their own from the device they uploaded them with.
You are the one inviting people to upload photos showing other people: let your guests know there is a shared album, and respect anyone who asks for a photo of them to be taken down.
9. What is not allowed
You may not upload illegal content, content that sexualises minors, violent content or content that infringes other people's rights, nor use the service to distribute files unrelated to an event, or probe its security without our consent.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and, in serious cases, close the album. If we close a paid album although you did not break the rules, we refund you.
To report content, write to [email protected]: we answer as soon as we can.
10. Availability and liability
We do everything we can to keep Festapix running, above all on the day of your event, but no online service can promise never to stop. The connection at the venue and your guests' phones are outside our control.
Our liability is unlimited where the law does not allow limits (intent, gross negligence, personal injury, mandatory consumer rights). In other cases it is limited to the amount you paid for the album.
11. Changes
We may update these terms to follow the law or new features. For albums already paid for, the terms in force at the time of purchase continue to apply, unless the new ones are better for you.
12. Governing law and disputes
The contract is governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
Write to us first: almost everything is settled with an email. You may also turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon, ttja.ee) or to the dispute resolution body of your own country.
